Bug Squad

Someone once said that "red doesn't tiptoe into a room; it kicks down the door." Red is bold, fiery, and confident. It's also a warning: think stop signs, traffic lights and fire engines. Don't blow through a stop signs or red traffic light, and please pull over when you hear a siren.

It's Saturday, Feb. 8--the 14th annual UC Davis Biodiversity Museum Day--and you're heading toward the Academic Surge Building on Crocker Lane, home of the Bohart Museum of Entomology and the Museum of Wildlife and Fish Biology. You want to see the displays and chat with the scientists.

Widespread rain, strong winds gusting 30 to 40 miles per hour, dangerous surf, hazardous roads, flood watch, maybe power outages. That's the weather warning tonight.
