Glenn County Fair Heritage Foundation held their annual Friends of the Fair Fundraiser Dinner on Friday, March 23, 2018. The Glenn County 4-H assisted with the serving, cleaning and the auction. 4-H had over 27 youth and adult volunteers assist at this event.

Norm Knows... Western Subterranean Termites Western Subterranean Termites have a winter time activity period, but are year-round pests of wooden structures and dead trees. The winter activity is associated with their swarming habit. The winged adults are black/dark brown with opaque gray wings.

Utility to turn off power when fire risk is high

Russian Wheat Aphid

Russian wheat aphids (RWA) have been sighted in some parts of western Yolo County and the Delta. RWA is an invasive species of aphid that caused a fair amount of consternation when it was introduced in the mid-80's.
