History of Calaveras Master Gardeners

The Master Gardener Program began in Calaveras County in 1985, just a few years after the California program began in Sacramento. We currently have around 70 Certified Master Gardeners volunteering their time to educate our community about home horticulture and always new Master Gardeners in training.
