Steve and I took our winter getaway trip south to Palm Desert. As per our usual, we looked for hiking trails nearby (that have no entry fees), and this is a good one. Easy and well-marked trails, plant regrowth the areas, and composting restrooms are among the amenities.
Plant-parasitic nematodes are microscopic, unsegmented roundworms that live in soil and plant tissues and feed on plant roots. The predominant species parasitic on citrus in California is the citrus nematode. This nematode is reported to be present in most citrus orchards and in all soil types.
The UCPath system is preparing to transition UC Berkeley, UC Davis and Agriculture and Natural Resources to UCPath. During the month of March, there will be two seven-day outages that will affect all employees currently using UCPath. Outage 1: Friday, March 1, at 5 p.m.
