My Green Bean Story

Toni (Greer) gave my grandson, Tyler, some green bean seeds in the spring. He was very excited, so we made him a little 4' x4' planter while the seeds were sprouting in the seed tray. He was amazed every day by how fast they came up and got big enough to plant in his garden.

Lindcove Research and Extension Center has a weather monitoring station connected to the Western Weather web site. You can view hourly or daily weather information as well as inversions between the 5 and 30 ft locations on the tower. There is a satellite loop and radar for the region as well.

Focusing on goals

How did you use your extra hour this weekend? I pretty much slept through mine. My goal was to get through a bit of a cold and laryngitis. I'm not sure how much it helped. I did also get out to see the sandhill cranes in Woodbridge, as did others that arrived by the bus load.
