Suggestion: I heard that there was a burglary in our parking lot today. Why has there been no announcement to the building occupants? This is a safety issue and you need to let people know at least so that they can be more aware in the parking lot. Thank you.

Suggestion: Please remind large cars to NOT park in compact spots-this is how cars get damaged. And small cars to park in compact spaces; when small cars take up the large spots, large cars take the compact spots.

Eucalyptus Trees and Vegetable Gardening

Over the last several years, my wife and I have been setting up a raised bed garden on the west side of our home. There are about 10 Eucalyptus trees on the west edge of the garden that provides some shade from the very hot late afternoon sun. These trees are about 35 years old and well established.

Portrait of My Old Flame

Just call it "my old flame." Well, it's not mine, but it is a flame of sorts, a flame skimmer dragonfly (Libellula saturata) and it's firecracker red. We see this species frequenting our pollinator garden in Vacaville, which includes a fish pond, flower beds, and bamboo stakes for their perches.
