What is a County Ambassador?
County Ambassadors are the face of the 4-H Program and are responsible for developing a Plan of Action, executing a Service Learning project, and coordinating countywide events. In addition, County Ambassadors may:
- Attend leadership conferences
- Lead educational sessions or workshops
- Act as Master of Ceremonies at an event
- Serve on a statewide committee
Earning the title of County Ambassador is a working honor, and in fulfilling this position, members are expected to behave with maturity, composure, and excellence. - Always follow the 4-H Code of Conduct
- Maintain a professional attitude
- Follow appropriate dress guidelines
- Serve as a role model for younger members
- Complete work on time
