Welcome! The UC Master Food Preservers of Fresno, Madera, and Merced are a group of trained volunteers that provide education to the public on home food preservation topics.

The UC Master Food Preserver Program mission is to keep Californians safe and healthy as they use culturally appropriate, research-based practices to safely preserve food in the home, reducing food waste, increasing food security, and providing engaging ways to explore healthy food. We offer hands-on workshops, community outreach, and trusted advice to help you preserve food safely and reduce waste.
