Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Math

In 4-H, STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture & Math! Our roots are in Agriculture, where science, technology, engineering and math all played a strong role in making California the top agricultural state in the United States.
4-H STEAM projects help you apply and learn about science methods and theory with fun, hands-on projects. Go beyond what you learn in school with experiments that spark your curiosity and thinking.
What kind of projects can you do?
STEAM projects are our most popular. Listed below are Project Sheets that can give you an idea of the types of projects you can do. Please note that project availability varies by club and county.
