Internal URL Links (Content on your site)
For links to UC ANR IWP site, a relative URL or node id can be used. For example, /site/iwp-training/iwp-overview or /node/140704/.
- Identify and highlight the text you want to add a link.
- Click the URL Link icon in the toolbar.
- The link dialog box will appear, type the relative url or node id for the content.
Click the green check mark to create the link and close the dialog box.
Please note: To identify your node id, navigate to your content and click the edit button. Then, in your browser url, you will see your node id.
Benefits of using node id:
- Consistency: Using node IDs ensures that links remain consistent even if the URL alias changes.
- Simplicity: Node links are straightforward and easy to understand. They provide a simple way to reference content without worrying about complex URL structures.
- Reliability: Node links are less likely to break compared to URL aliases, which might change over time.
