The process of associating people with in an IWP Group (formerly a site in Site Builder) works differently than it did in Site Builder. You no longer include this information using the ANR Portal to create a roster.
At launch there is a portion of every Group’s home page (toward the bottom) that will display all people associated with a particular unit, along with others that you can add manually.
Before IWP, most units accomplished this with some sort of "Staff page" on their navigation automatically filled in with an Asset that drew from a roster. Because the Asset that supported this functionality is not part of IWP, those pages are now blank, but show up still in the navigation.
This type of directory page can still be created in a couple of ways, but at this time the process is manual.
These instructions cover the two main ways to associate and/or list people on your site.
Method 1: IWP’s Built-in Personnel Section
IWP shows associated personnel and people automatically at the bottom of a page. Each person is shown with a photo, if available, which links to their profile in IWP. (These profiles are edited in IWP not Site Builder.)
To support this functionality, you need to make sure IWP knows what unit and/or people you would like to display.
To populate the employees associated to your Group, select the Related Department that populates from UCPath department data. To add additional personnel, select and add multiple to the Related Personnel field. This replaces contact lists and rosters that had been used in Site Builder.

Non-UC people can be added by a Group Administrator by using the People content type.
Personnel can add additional tags to their IWP Profile to show up in multiple units.
At this time, 8 people are shown by default, but the remainder are available by pressing the View All People button.
Method 2: Creating a Dedicated People Page
You can create a public-facing page for members of your group in any way that works for you. Here are two methods that are easy to implement.
Option 1: Copy-paste from Site Builder
The most straightforward and customizable way to do this is copy-paste the old Site Builder “Contact Us” pages into the About Us field in the group’s landing page. (Access these by going to your Portal and choosing the "Edit" link next to the site’s name.) The benefit of this option is that email address and phone number can be easily displayed right on the home page. Pictures will require manual uploading to display properly.
Another option is to use or create a Page or an Article in your group. The now blank About Us type pages that were migrated from Site Builder are a good location for this sort of content. Again, copy and paste to create this sort of directory.
The BOC’s page is a good example of how to do this. For a simple example without pictures, see Inyo-Mono’s page.
At this time these pages will require manual curation. The biggest hurdle for large units will be the initial creation, which is made less difficult if photos are omitted.
Option 2: Link to Search
Another less reliable but easy way to show a list of people is to link to a search in the Content Hub. This would be most appropriate as part of a more comprehensive page, but where associated people could be shown. This would also work on blog posts.
To do this, create a Page or Article that describes your unit or other content. Next, from UC ANR's home page click on People. Then run a search as desired. For example: search for “Calaveras” then copy the link from the URL bar.
On the page that should have the link, type text such as: See Our People. Make a link to the search URL you just copied. You can make that a button by changing the style if desired.
Caution: There can be a discrepancy with these results and the Personnel content and Site Builder roster if profiles have not been correctly tagged by location, for example if someone works in several counties, but hasn’t been tagged in them all.
