HAREC is dedicated to Extension, Education and Outreach and serves as a venue for a wide variety of audiences. Field days and workshops provided by UC advisors extend research results to local growers. This current and real-world information is used to make informed decisions and enhance farming operations. Likewise, Ventura County Master Gardener workshops, on site and in the community, deliver science based gardening information to enrich the knowledge of the home gardener.
