The University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) conducts applied research and extension, develops educational programs, and serves as an educational resource for youth development and informal science education.

UCCE 4-H Supports Programs with Training, Curricula, and Resources
UC ANR partners with those we serve to cultivate thriving people and communities through a holistic approach that encompasses many different disciplines and types of engagement.
We can help you (youth development educators) with the following:
- Host 4-H Program Models at your location
On-going cooperative partnership between your facility and the UCCEs 4-H Youth Development Program. - Support your staff with Professional Development
Experts conduct hands-on training on either a specific curriculum and/or youth development/pedagogy. - Receive Evaluation Assistance
Consult with experts in evaluation methodology to identify learning/development outcomes, appropriate instruments, and analysis techniques to successfully evaluate your youth development programming. - Link to Research-based Youth Development Resources
UCCE can provide links to relevant research-based information to guide program design, implementation, and evaluation.
