Saul Alba, IPM Specialist at Beneficial Insectary

Saul began his career in agriculture working for winery and vineyard operations on the central California coast. After several years in wine and grapes, he decided to focus on crop protection and obtained his PCA license. Saul then moved to Northern California where he managed the IPM programs at Monterey Mushroom Company and Jacobs Farm/Del Cabo. Both farms employed organic pest management that relied on biological control. This work led to a position as IPM Manager at Harborside Farms where for the last two years his sole focus has been managing a biointensive cannabis IPM program.
