Japanese Climbing 58-65 days / Green / Fruit to 9" long. This Japanese climbing variety bears tender, crisp, and slightly tart 9" long cucumbers that are excellent for slicing or pickling. Listed by J.M. Lemon 65 days / Yellow / Round Fruit, 1½-2½" diameter. Small, rounded, pale yellow cucumbers. Pick at 1½-2½" diameter. This versatile cucumber is sweet and flavorful, and doesn't have much of the chemical that makes other cucumbers bitter and hard to digest. Teot Bat Put 65-70 days / Green / To 4" diameter and 6" long This summer squash is enjoyable as a freshly sliced snack, saute, stir-fry, or even grated for zucchini bread. Nicknamed avocado squash because of its shape, it has glossy green skin, light yellow flesh, and a wonderful, sweet flavor. It is easy to grow and has good fruit set. Ripe fruits measure about 4" wide and about 6" long. Train to climb a vertical support for best air circulation and ease of harvest, or leave to sprawl on the ground. "I grew this last season and it was by far the most prolific summer squash in my garden. And it produced from June to October! Kabocha—Sunshine 95 days / Deep Orange-Red / Fruit to 3-5 pounds. This AAS winner bears stunning, scarlet fruit. The tender flesh is smooth, sweet, and bright orange - ideal for baking, mashing, and pies. Deep scarlet fruits are slightly flat-round, averaging 3-5 lb. on vigorous, short vines.
