Helping Central Valley Dairies Thrive

Our Dairy Extension Program serving Fresno, Madera, and Kings Counties supports dairy producers and dairy-related businesses by providing practical, research-based information they can put to work on their operations. Through UC Cooperative Extension, we collaborate with the local dairy community to share science-driven tools, education, and on-farm support that help improve efficiency, sustainability, and herd and farm management. We assist producers in adapting their operations to meet current and future environmental concerns while also conducting applied research focused on solving real-world challenges facing the local dairy industry, with the goal of strengthening and sustaining dairies throughout the Central Valley.
