UC ANR Climate Initiative
The University of California Agriculture and National Resources (UC ANR) intends to foster freedom of expression and the free exchange of ideas that comply with state and federal law and campus policies while also protecting students, staff, faculty, other academic appointees, and volunteers' safety and access to educational opportunities.
In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, UC ANR is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity (including gender expression), sexual orientation, age, disability, income derived from a public assistance program, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity. Remedies and complaint filing deadlines vary by program or incident.

- The time, place, and manner of exercising the constitutionally protected rights of free expression, speech, assembly, and worship are subject to campus regulations that shall provide for non-interference with University functions and reasonable protection to persons against practices that would make them involuntary audiences or place them in reasonable fear, as determined by the University, for their personal safety.
