California Citrus Quality Council Advisories: The California Citrus Quality Council (CCQC) works closely with industry partners, registrants, and regulatory agencies to support market access for California citrus. A key focus is monitoring maximum residue limits (MRLs) in export destinations and communicating any restrictions that may impact growers and PCAs.  MRL requirements vary widely among importing countries and can change frequently, creating potential risks for residue violations and shipment rejections. To minimize these risks, growers should verify MRL compliance before making pesticide applications, especially on blocks intended for export. Utilizing CCQC guidance and up-to-date MRL reference tools can help ensure market access and avoid costly disruptions. Check here for MRLs for commonly used pesticides in major citrus markets.

Citrograph: Citrograph is the official magazine of the Citrus Research Board. The publication focuses on research, pest management, production practices, and industry updates relevant to California citrus growers and pest control advisers.

UC IPM Pest Management Guidelines The UC Statewide IPM Program PMGs for Citrus provide science-based recommendations to manage insects, mites, diseases, weeds, and nematodes in California citrus. Developed by UC researchers and advisors, the guidelines support integrated pest management decisions through monitoring methods, treatment thresholds, and effective chemical and non-chemical management strategies.
