Welcome
The Rosenberg Forum is a global network of water management researchers and professionals dedicated to the mission of reducing conflict and promoting cooperation in the management of water resources. The Rosenberg Forum is a program of the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) through the California Institute for Water Resources.
The Rosenberg Forum promotes open exchange on:
- What works—and what doesn’t—in water resource management
- How financial, social, and cultural factors shape policy outcomes
- Alternative approaches to aid in devising more effective and efficient water management
Objectives:
- Foster global collaboration by encouraging meaningful dialogue and knowledge-sharing between researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world
- Bridge between science and policy by exploring the critical role of science in shaping effective water policy and management strategies
- Create an intimate and highly interactive environment to engage in deep discussions on the science and practice of water management across diverse global contexts
The Forum is held every two years in different locations, the Rosenberg Forum brings together a select group of approximately 50 of the world’s leading water scholars and senior water managers to explore solutions to global water challenges.
