Assistant Specialist in Cooperative Extension for Sheep and Goat Herd Health & Production
Dr. Busch recently joined the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Extension team in the Fall of 2019! Her passion is connecting California veterinarians, farmers and ranchers to evidence-based resources that are reliable and practical. Her research interests are focused in three major areas: 1) maternal health and reproduction; 2) youngstock health; and 3) production efficiency and quality.

Student Research Assistant
Emily recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and is currently a veterinary student at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, class of 2025. She found her love for small ruminants through interning for several years with a local goat farm and plans to have a herd of her own one day.
