Pollinators – Encourage These Vital Little Critters

Presented: Saturday, February 13, 2021

Presented by: Bonnie Bradt

This presentation includes information about understanding and appreciating our local insect pollinators. We will introduce you to both the non-native and native pollinators of Nevada County, explain a bit about their biology and let you know how to encourage them. We will cover critters from the European honeybee to lesser known but very important natives like Mason bees, carpenter bees, squash bees and digger bees.
