The UC Master Food Preserver Program of San Mateo & San Francisco Counties is open to individuals looking to increase community knowledge in home food preservation methods.
This page is designed for the 4-H Unit Volunteer, often referred to as the Club Leader. The main role of a 4-H Unit Volunteer is to: Coordinate (by managing and facilitating) the volunteer team that provides support, guidance, and direction to 4-H members and the unit.
Tehama County 4-H Leader's Council and 4-H Members make the countywide events a success! Following every event, members are allowed to evaluate each event at the next Leader's Council meeting.
Have you ever wondered how the countywide events are decided on, created and run? Tehama County Leader's Council meets monthly to discuss, plan and evaluate county programs, budget and events. Council meetings are open for all 4-H leaders, members & parents.
4-H Enrollment The 4-H program year is July 1 - June 30. 4-H Membership is open to youth between the ages of 5-18 as of December 31, 2025. 4-H membership must enroll annually.
Mission Statement: It is the mission of the Tehama County 4-H Youth Camp to assure healthy, safe, high quality, well-run, educational and fun camping program experiences for campers and staff that empower members to pursue self-improvement in an inclusive environment.
