Dear members of the Monterey County 4-H Leaders Council, On Tuesday, June 18th, the 4-H Leaders Council will hold its monthly meeting at 7pm. This in-person meeting will be at the Large Conference room at 1432 Abbott St, Salinas.
Chris Jakober has joined UC ANR as Director of Risk & Safety Services. In this role, Chris will lead ANR's programs and teams for Environmental Health & Safety and Risk Management, reporting to Director of Facilities Planning and Management Brian Oatman.

In May 2024, my husband Michael and I ventured to the south of Spain, focusing our travels on Andalusia. Our arrival in Crdoba coincided with the city's vibrant Spring festivals, a highlight of which is the renowned Patios of Crdoba competition, a cherished cultural tradition.
As we headed out on our drive up to Oregon, before the Memorial Day weekend, we commented on how recently our hills had turned brown. Our weather had become much more summer like. We knew things were going to change when we got to Oregon.
