Dear 4-H Families, We have many exciting pre-fair events coming up this weekend and next weekend. We still need many shift filled in the 4-H clover deli. Invite a friend to share in the fun of the Clover Deli and experience 4-H program. We may gain a new member.

Are you on the fence about becoming a UCCE Stanislaus County Master Gardener? We encourage you to apply so you can learn more about the program. You'll receive an invitation to our orientation meetings (one held in the morning, the other in the evening) when you can decide if you want to interview.

A "Natural History Note" From UC California Naturalist's lead scientist, Dr. Cameron Barrows, in celebration of California Biodiversity Day. Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent.

This Fall we are offering over a dozen workshops. We have quite a few new topics on tap, as well as a timely four-part series on Landscaping with Fire.

A fantastic line-up awaits those eager to attend the UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology's in-person and virtual seminars. Topics include earwigs, green roofs, fruit flies and nematodes.
