You would surmise from the name that Weedy Acres was up to its neck (if it had one) in weeds of all kinds right now. Since moving here in 1991, I've only had what I call the 4 stages of weed growth.
The rain situation was beginning to look dire for our region before last week, with most major storms passing to the north of Monterey county. However, the storms that occurred last week were generated by an atmospheric river that was focused on the southern part of Monterey County.
I hope everyone has power restored. At least we don't have the temperatures to accompany the winter storm that those along the Eastern Seaboard are facing. We presented the updated strategic plan to President Drake this week. I believe it was well received by him.
