Gotta love those crab spiders! We've seen them ambushing prey, eating prey and looking for more prey. They're members of the Thomisidae family of spiders. They can move sideways and backwards. And they excel at camouflage.
Convolvulus can be an ornamental plant. There is a reason it is called MORNING Glory. It's why people plant it. It's commonly sold in nurseries. There's a large purple flowered variety that is growing throughout my Ventura city neighborhood.
