Environmental and seasonal activities

There are many ways to support UC Elkus Ranch! We depend on donations, program fees and grants to keep us running and appreciate additional support through volunteer work.

Located on the California coast, south of Half Moon Bay, UC Elkus Ranch provides experiential learning opportunities for Bay Area children. Elkus Ranch is part of the University of Californias Agriculture and Natural Resources (UCANR) Department.

Whether you have visited us previously or are planning your first visit, the following information is provided to help you prepare for your field trip to Elkus Ranch. Provide a signed waiver for all field trip attendees including teachers, aides, paraprofessionals, students, and chaperones.

This letter for parents provides information about your child's visit to the ranch. It includes information about what to wear, what to bring, where to park, and how to help as a chaperone.
