
Event Overview and Purpose:
Rainbow Craft Field Day provides youth who participate in a variety of skilled projects to come, exhibit, and speak about the projects which they have made. This event is not specific to a single project, but invites any member to share what they’ve made

You will be judged on your presentation which is a demonstration/illustrative talk evaluation and your craft. The presentation manual has good information, on page 16 specifically for this demonstration/illustrative talk presentation: Presentation Manual

Not sure what to create? Consider one of the following categories:
Ceramics – Stoneware, pottery, statuary, outdoor décor
Woodworking – Wood burning, carving, whittling, furniture
Leathercraft – Purses, bags, hats, belts, headbands, wallets, or saddles with carving, stamping, or lacing
Floral Design – Wreaths, swags, or centerpieces
Holiday Decorations – Any craft item made for a specific holiday
Recycled Art – Items made primarily from recycled materials
Fine Arts – Drawing, painting, sculpting, printmaking, fiber arts, graphic design
Photography – Digital or Polaroid; portraits, landscapes, wildlife, buildings, night, action, still life, and more
Metalworking – Jewelry, pins, outdoor décor, furniture
Archery – Leather gear construction or building an arrow
Needlework – Yarn work, quilting, cross-stitch
LEGO – Characters, buildings, vehicles, or scenes
Models – Cars, trucks, trains, ships, tanks (kits allowed)
Scrapbooks – Photos and embellishments such as stickers, buttons, stitching, embossing
