Don’t be tempted to plant tomatoes too early!

There is a danger of frost until May.  Remember, warm soil gives plants their best start in your garden.  Master Gardeners have fussed to produce beautiful, strong seedlings.  All plants always sell quickly.  

 

Common Tomato Plant Terms

Determinate–Short, typically 4' or less
Indeterminate–Tall, 5' or more, continues growing until frost
Semi-determinate–In between

Disease resistance
V–Verticillium wilt tolerance
F–Fusarium wilt tolerance
FF–Fusarium wilt (races 1 & 2) tolerance
