UC Master Food Preserver

Online Delivery Program

The University of California Master Food Preserver Statewide office is excited to offer a volunteer program that is based entirely online. It allows adults residing in a county without an existing UC Master Food Preserver to become a certificated volunteer and provide educational outreach through a variety of web-based outlets.

This program opens up the possibility of anyone with an Internet connection in California (and beyond) to skip traffic and travel to learn about research-based food safety and preservation recommendations from the comfort of their home, office, back patio, or car.

Are you interested in joining the UC Master Food Preserver Online Delivery Program (ODP)? The application for the 2027 training class will open in summer 2026. Until then, fill out our Become a UC Master Food Preserver interest survey to be notified about the next training class.
