The UC Organic Agriculture Institute provides research, extension, and education to meet the needs of organic growers in California. California leads the nation in organic agriculture. As demand for organic production continues to expand, there is a pressing need for strong institutional infrastructure to support current and transitioning organic growers.
The UC Organic Agriculture Institute is a statewide institute of the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) integrated within the UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (SAREP).
