Dehydrating Tomatoes & Peppers

In this workshop, the Master Food Preservers of San Mateo and San Francisco Counties will discuss techniques for dehydrating tomatoes and peppers, as well as unique methods for processing and cooking with dehydrated summer crops. We’ll explore ways to use by-products of dehydration and dehydrated produce in foods like tomato butter, noodle dishes, meat rubs, cocktails, and more.
