Our Vision: Planting the seeds of gardening knowledge for a sustainable future.
UC Master Gardeners are volunteers who have been trained by the University of California to help people garden successfully and sustainably. We use science-based, environmentally sound methods of growing plants and dealing with pests. We give classes, hold workshops, maintain a Helpline and provide information via our website, social media, newsletter and other publications. We help to establish and support school and community gardens as well as other projects that help to educate the public on sustainable gardening practices.
