Viv Patterson and Trish Schlichting, both Inyo/Mono Master Gardeners, visited the Flower Clock in Geneva, Switzerland, this past October. Geneva is recognized all around the world for its watch-making tradition. In 1955 Geneva created the biggest clock in the world made from flowers.

Dear Colleagues, UC Research Initiatives is pleased to announce the release of the 2020 Request for Proposals for the UC National Laboratory Fees Research Program.

Ventura County 4-H Presentation Day took place on Saturday, March 23 at UC Hansen Agricultural Research and Extension Center. Presentations took place in the small and large barns as well as our new conference room, and the interviews took place in our 4-H offices.

Dear Colleagues, USDA NIFA has recently announced an opportunity for Sustainable Agricultural Systems awarding $10M per project. The amount available for new grants in this FY 2019 SAS RFA is $90 million.

4-H families and Leaders, At the March Council meeting, it was announced the 4-H Youth Development Advisor for the tri-county area, Lynn Schmitt-McQuitty, would be providing a presentation on future funding for the County 4-H Program and Program staff.
