Test PB Collection: FTE

The Southwest US Herbicide Resistance Listening Session was hosted by the Weed Science Society of America (WSSA) on February 15, 2017 at the UCCE office in Tulare, California. This was one of seven regional sessions hosted by WSSA and it included attendees from California, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Who lives in a honey bee hive? Eleven-year-old Lexi Haddon Mendes of the Vaca Valley 4-H Club, Vacaville, who has been keeping bees for five years, can tell you.

A consultant recently brought in some alfalfa plants to get another opinion on why growth was resuming slowly this spring. The field is located in Merced County and is a sandy loam soil. The field is in its fifth year, is glyphosate-tolerant, and has traditionally produced high-quality hay.
