The Wildfire Mitigation and Management program focuses on wildland fire-related research and outreach, while building trust, strong partnerships and collaborative relationships within Central Coast communities.
Barb works to answer some of the questions behind the use of prescribed fire in a variety of ecosystems and to help Central Coast communities build resilience to wildland fire so residents can live safely within fire-adapted landscapes.
