The CalFresh Healthy Living, University of California offers comprehensive evidence-based nutrition and physical activity education, aligned with policy systems and environmental change services in early childhood centers, schools and community environments.
The CalFresh Healthy Living, UCCE Youth Nutrition Education Program works through schools and other local institutions to teach kids good food habits and decision-making skills.
The adult program is delivered by UCCE staff and community based organizations. Additionally, UCCE staff delivers youth andfamily-centered education. Staff and volunteers use one of several CalFresh Healthy Living, UC approved curricula.

Pre-School: Happy Healthy Me is a nutrition and literacy curriculum that helps children become aware of food and nutrition by reading storybooks with food-related themes and then participating in hands-on nutrition education and physical activities.
