The 4-H Youth Development Program is an educational program of the University of California Cooperative Extension and is made available through a partnership of county, state, and federal governments.
Our volunteers are a key part of the 4-H Youth Development Program. 4-H has grown in California because of the dedication of our volunteers. Some of our volunteers have supported 4-H for 10, 20 and 30 years or more! The Adult Volunteer enrollment fee is $28.00 for the 2025/2026 year.
Whether you live in a city, small town, or farm, 4-H has something for you! Joining a local 4-H club is the first step! 4-H allows young people many opportunities to build confidence, learn responsibility, and develop skills that will last a lifetime.
