Nevada County 4-H offers many exciting programs throughout the year where youth continue to learn leadership, citizenship, and other life skills.

The Nevada County 4-H Proficiency Program is a new look at Incentives and Recognition. The goal of the program is to give member recognition and rewards in a timely manner and in a variety of ways to meet the diverse needs of todays youth.

Being a part of the County Ambassador Program is the highest rank that a 4-H member can achieve at the county level.

The Nevada County 4-H Youth Development Program's Lending Library has valuable resources for a large array of 4-H projects. The Lending Library offers books, dvds, project curriculum, and lab kits that can be checked out. Here are just some of the topics we have in our inventory.

4-H staff are available to assist members and adult volunteers address and create solutions to problems, and to consult and interpret policy and procedure. When applicable, attempts should be made to reach resolution at the original level of involvement (such as Council, club, or project).
