The UC Master Food Preserver Program is open to individuals looking to increase community knowledge in home food preservation methods.

Thank you for your interest in the UC Master Food Preserver Program! Programs are located in local county-based UC Cooperative Extension offices. The UC Master Food Preserver Program has traditionally been delivered out of local county-based UC Cooperative Extension offices.

UC Master Food Preserver Volunteers use researched-based resources and recipes when teaching their food safety and food preservation educational events.

In November of 2024, the UC Master Food Preserver Program launched a monthly newsletter that delivers recipes, how-tos, and food preservation inspiration straight to a subscriber's inbox. Sign up via the following link: Newsletter Subscription Page. The first issue launches November 4, 2024.
