Test PB Collection: FTE

Learn by doing is an atmosphere where learning is fun and is an important element of 4-H. In a project, youth members find things to learn, to do, to make, and to explore. A 4-H project is: Planned work in an area of interest to the 4-H member. Guided by a 4-H adult volunteer(s) who is the project leader.

This workshop covered ground squirrel and gopher management, particularly for agriculture and public lands. The day included lectures as well as hands-on activities and live demonstrations of effective technologies.

4-H Members must renew their membership each year to continue to participate in the 4-H program. For projects and events that are continuing past the June 30 4-H year end, 4-H members and volunteers may continue their participation without re-enrolling.
