SPSS
By IBM
Best for: Social sciences, health sciences, marketing, academia. Commands can be executed using the menu system or using command syntax. It is available for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems. Interface is similar to Excel. SPSS Statistics by IBM is a user-friendly platform for managing and analyzing data, including by regression analysis, ANOVA, or t-tests. Best for: Access and utilize a wide range of statistical procedures from summary statistics to design of experiments. Credit g2. Provides dynamic linking of the data to the graphical reports. Best for: Health and Life Sciences; exploring, analyzing and visualizing data. It is useful with particularly for large datasets or memory-intensive processes. Only compatible with Windows operating systems. SAS is a command-based statistical analysis software that excels in data management, It can also be used to produce publication-worthy graphics, including for geospatial data. Credit UCSD. STATA

Best for: Primarily used by researchers in the fields of economics, biomedicine, and political science to examine data patterns. Credit University of Illinois. This command-based statistical packages offers a lot of flexibility for data analysis by just altering a different command options or writing a do-file.
