How can we join 4-H? Youth Members Adult Volunteers What do members learn? The primary goal of 4-H is to help youth succeed and reach their fullest potential in life. Young people in 4-H are uniquely prepared to step up to the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
The county 4-H program is organized by smaller local community clubs. Yolo County clubs meet monthly throughout Clarksburg, Davis, Woodland, and the Esparto/Capay Valley.

Presentation Day is an event held annually for current members of Yolo County 4-H. It is a competitive event which provides members the opportunity to practice their public speaking skills. Members are encouraged to gain public speaking skills, as this is critical of leaders.
The projects that children can participate in depends upon the interests of the members, and the willingness of the adult volunteers.We encourage all parents to volunteer to lead a project. Materials and curriculum resources are available to help you.
