About 4-H Short-Term Programs
4-H short-term programs, also called Step Into 4-H, are topic specific programs led by 4-H staff or volunteers. Youth participate in a self-chosen project learning experience that allows them to experience a 4-H project in a topic area that interests them. These programs are a minimum of six hours in length and run no longer than six weeks. Short-Term programs could be weekly projects, day-camps, or one-day skill-building workshops. Youth are welcome to register for one or more short-term programs. Discover what 4-H is all about and experience some of the amazing projects 4-H has to offer!
Age Requirements: Youth must be 5 years old on or before December 31, 2025 to participate. Some programs may have additional age requirements, which will be noted in the program descriptions below.
2025 4-H Short-Term Programs
Robotics, Napa
Learn about the fundamentals of coding and robotics using Ozobots and Lego SPIKE Prime robotics sets! This full day STEM Camp will encourage play and exploration for upper elementary and middle school aged youth. The program is designed for youth ages 8 to 14.

4-H Cloverbud Day Camp: Session 1, Napa
Join us at Skyline Park for a fun filled day where youth will learn camp songs, create crafts in nature, hike, tie dye, participate in a STEM activity (build a kite!), and end the day with a sweet treat making S’MORES! The program is designed for youth ages 5 to 9.

4-H Cloverbud Day Camp: Session 2, Napa
Visit 4-H Camp! Join us at Enchanted Hills to experience a day at camp and what it is like to be an “overnight 4-H camper”. Participate in the morning short courses, enjoy the fun recreational activities, have lunch with the entire camp, and see what overnight 4-H Camp is all about! The program is designed for youth ages 5 to 9.

Ag From Above x Ag for All, Drone Academy, Napa
Drone Academy engages teens in 25 hours of hands-on learning focused on drones and GIS mapping. The program is designed to spark interest in food and agriculture through the use of cutting-edge drone and mapping technologies. By combining interactive activities with real-world applications, participants explore the science behind agriculture in fun and meaningful ways.
