Community Clubs

A 4-H club is an organized group of at least five youth from three different families with two 4-H appointed adult volunteers. Members and leaders meet regularly and have a planned program that is carried out through all or most of the year.

Donations

UC Cooperative Extension brings the resources of the University to bear on local problems and is supported by a combination of state, federal and county funds. Our donor program, initiated in 1978, is the longest ongoing program of this type in the state.

How to Join 4-H

4-H offers limitless opportunities for friendship, growth, fun, and development. By engaging youth and adults in meaningful partnerships, 4-H helps young people to reach their full potential as competent, confident, leaders of character who contribute and are connected to their communities.

Project Information

Each year, a 4-H member enrolls in at least one project. Members participating for the first time may be encouraged to take on only one or two projects. As members gain experience, the size or depth of the project may increase or additional projects may be selected.
