The San Benito County 4-H Youth Development Program creates supportive environments utilizing experiential educational experiences for culturally diverse youth and adults to reach their fullest potential. The 4-H County Council support these efforts.
At the end of each 4-H Program year, all clubs are required to submit a "Club Book" to the County 4-H Office. This book allows the County 4-H Council and 4-H Staff to review the club's activities throughout the year and provide support and oversight as needed.

The primary purpose of the San Benito County 4-H Bank on Us Award program is to help 4-H members learn the life skills of self-discipline, goal setting, decision-making, planning, organizing, and leadership.
The San Benito County Heritage Foundation is looking for a qualified energetic spokesperson to raise our 2016 Heritage Hog. All monies raised from the sale are invested in Bolado Park. The Heritage Foundation pays for the hog and all related expenses.
Three 4-H Scholarship opportunities are available to San Benito County 4-H Youth Development Program members who: Are currently enrolled and active in San Benito County 4-H. Are graduating from high school.
The California 4-H Youth Development Program is committed to promoting higher education, in part through offering financial assistance in the form of scholarships. With help from donors, state wide scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors and college-attending students.
