New Youth Enrollment Process

Step 1. Choose a Club. Here is a list of the local clubs

Step 2. Contact the club.  Contact the Club Leader(s) for the club you are interested in joining. The leader(s) can provide you with more information about the club and the types of projects they offer.

Step 3. Choose a Project. Your Club Leader can let you know what projects are open for enrollment. Choose the projects and activities that sound interesting to you.

Step 4: Create a household profile in ZSuite.

ZSuite is the online enrollment system.  Create a household profile in ZSuite (opening August 15, 2023).

  • All family members joining 4-H are grouped together in one household profile.
  • If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian login to submit your medical release forms through the system.
  • Please use an email address that you will check regularly. This email will be used to confirm your enrollment and send communications to you.

Step 5: Pay the 4-H Enrollment Fees (by credit card).
Fees are $100.00 per youth

Step 6:  Get activated and participate. You are ready to participate once your county 4-H office confirms by email that your enrollment status is Active.

Fee Waiver or Reduction:  The 4-H Youth Development Program is open to participants, regardless of their ability to pay. Program fees will be waived or reduced for eligible youth. If you have any barriers to participation or any special needs, please fill out the payment survey and indicate a waiver reduction request where indicated.

If you have any questions, please contact San Mateo/San Francisco 4-H office at 650-276-7422, smsf4h@ucanr.edu.
