Step 1:  Update and submit the ZSuite re-enrollment. Families that were active in 4-H online anytime from 2018 to 2023, will have the same login email for ZSuite, but will need to click "Forgot Password" and reset the password.

DO NOT create a new profile if you have been enrolled at any time prior to July 2023.

Step 2:  Complete the 2023-24 California Returning Volunteer Course in Campus Extension. The Returning Volunteer Training is designed to give California returning volunteers the necessary information to stay current with 4-H policy and best practices. The course does not need to be completed in one sitting and will pick up where you left off when you return to it. Upon completion, your certificate of completion will be emailed to your email address on file.

Note the enrollment key necessary to log in to the system is included in the ZSuite confirmation email that you received when you submitted your adult enrollment profile.

The following lesson(s) are included in this year’s course:

  1. Level 2 Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect for UC Volunteers - 15 minutes (in-course title is Abuse Prevention for UC Volunteers)

  2. Abuse Risk Management for Volunteers - 15 minutes

  3. 4-H Orientation - 40 minutes

  4. 2 Deep Supervision Policy -5 minutes

Step 3:  Complete payment of the annual adult volunteer enrollment fee. Adult Fees are $30.00

Please Note: If your club sponsors adult volunteers, please pay the fees now and ask your club Treasurer for reimbursement.

Step 4:  Enrollment completion and approval:  All adult volunteers appointments must be approved by the UCCE County Director.  You will be notified of your status once once all the application requirements and mandatory trainings are completed.

Note: Project leaders must be "Active" before holding any project meetings.
