Returning Volunteers Enrollment Steps

Re-apply annually by December 31

All 4-H volunteers must be appointed annually. If you are a current 4-H Adult Volunteer, to continue in the next year you need to re-apply and be re-appointed by December 31st. Returning volunteers who have not completed the re-appointment process must cease all 4-H volunteer work beginning January 1 until re-appointment process has been completed and the volunteer has been returned to active status.

Due to the pandemic, we are offering a policy exception and allowing volunteers who had a gap in service (2019-2020 and/or 2020-2021) to enroll as a returning volunteer. If your last active year is prior to 2018-2019 program year, you will need to enroll as a new volunteer and complete the new adult volunteer process.

Please do not wait till December 31!
