2024-25 VOLUNTEER ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN!
Age Requirements:
|
The 4-H Year starts July 1 and ends June 30 of the following year. Most of the project and club activities follow the school year and are held from August through May/June. |
New Adult Volunteer Enrollment
All NEW 4-H volunteers must go through a screening process. Our #1 priority in 4-H is the safety of young people.
Step 1: Complete the 4-H Volunteer Interest Survey. Once you complete the interest survey, information for completing the remaining steps in the application process will be emailed to you.
Please follow the instructions in the email to continue.
The remaining steps will include:
Step 2: Complete a Live Scan fingerprinting appointment. The necessary form to complete the Live Scan will be provided to you via email once your Volunteer Interest Survey has been received and reviewed.
Step 3: Submit your ZSuite enrollment. New Adult Volunteers (never enrolled in 4-H) will create a new household profile in the ZSuite system. If your family has an existing ZSuite profile, please add your new adult profile to the existing ZSuite household account.
Step 4: Complete the 2024-25 CA New Vol (ENG) in Campus Extension. The New Volunteer course is designed to give new adult volunteers basic information to prepare them for service in 4-H. This course consists of five modules with multiple lessons that are designed to be completed in sequential order.

Step 5: Complete payment of the annual adult volunteer enrollment fee. For SM/SF County Payment Survey, use this link.
Please Note: If your club sponsors adult volunteers, please pay the fees now and ask your club Treasurer for reimbursement.
